Tuned or Not
Hello, I've owned my cobalt ss tc for just over a year now and its been great. That being said I've poked around the car and found some strange things.
When I first purchased the car it was boosting 22.5lbs in every gear, but after a battery swap it changed back to the stock 15lbs. I use a bluetooth obd2 and the torque android app quite a bit, and I noticed that resetting faults while the car is running causes it the change the trim a bit and begins boosting 22.5lbs again. Shifting to 1st gear resets this, and it goes back to 15. It does not give any obd code though, and plugging in a normal scanner reads a blank code...
Anyone have an explanation for this? It has a viper smart start alarm that I don't believe is wired correctly, I get clicking and interference through my speakers. I've also found out that clearing the fault using a scanner or Torque shuts off the alarm module as well until I shift into 1st gear...
Only mods are injen intake and catless dp.

Yup ^^ some tunes are programmed to be "active" when triggered by the controls he mentioned. Simple really, find the right button. If nothing works, you've got bigger issues. Like you computer is failing.
