Tuning Help

Alright so I am located in phoenix arizona and I just upgraded to the zfr turbo and I would like to have my car dyno tuned. A couple of quick questions, anyone living in phoenix know of of reputable place I can take my car to get it dyno tuned. Second, I would like to have it setup so that it is only at about 15lbs of boost normally and then when you switch it to competitive mode it is pushing a lot more. Is this possible to do?

Only trifecta has switchable tunes like that but good luck getting ahold of them and even if you do you will not be happy with your tune especially being a ZFR car.

Not many shops have tuners capable of properly tuning LNFs as they are very different vs their typical LS cars most shops specialize in.

This^^^ You're better off buying HPT and having Term tune you. That will give you the flexibility to flash a higher boost tune to the car and have a 15 psi one for daily driving.

So with this HPT I can set my own tunes. How easy is it to install and will it work well with the new turbo?

It only works as well as the tuner doing the tuning.

Get HP tuners and have someone remotely tune your car that knows about lnfs. As long as you still have the stock wastegate solenoid then it should tune easy just like any other lnf.

You can make much more power with HP tuners if the tuner knows what they are doing.
