So after extensive searching it would appear that the efi live tuning software I have used in the past is not going to work as well as the hp tuners software. I have looked at the tunes in efi live. Which this got me to thinking, I really dont feel like spending a ton on a whole other tuning software setup since I have already put in a bit of money with efi live. Im thinking about getting a canned tune from zzp when I decide to pully down, then just tweak the tune with efi live once it is back in the car to make it a bit better. Has anyone done this?

It appears that there is still quite a bit that can be done with efi live.

Seems like the efi live software would be able to take care of the minor adjustments. Any ideas guys?


I know this might be a long way around the same problem lol

I would of course save a stock tune from the car before sending the pcm out.

I believe you would have to have hptuners to tweak the zzp tune since they use hptuners but I could be wrong, I've never heard of EFI live so I wouldn't know how it works.

Why not just rune it yourself from the get go

I would but efi live seems to be missing some of the table that normally would get tweaked. It has most of them and I have thought about doing it from the get go but might be better to start out with a better base to go from. Seems to be missing some of the injector tables.

Efi live is tuning software just like hp tuners, the pcm doesn't know the difference of programs only what the values are being put as. Therefore when I pull a tune from a pcm it just shows me what the values are.
