how is the torque below the boost effected? this thing pulls very well from 1500rpm then goes pear shaped just after 2000rpm , i dont really want to loose that too much which i understand i will to an extent.i currently run 350lbft at 2500rpm, dont want it ending up like vtech

the zfr will put you in the backseat from start to finish compared to stock turbo, no need to worry about losing torque. it will still be there lol. a lot of people also boost ramp cuz of our transmissions too. so depends on everyones tune. i hit 25psi by 4k

You don't want to go WOT on the 6758 under 3500 rpms anyway unless you have some serious transmission upgrades.
Like everyone else said, yes it spools slower but only by about 500rpms. Just have to get used to revving a little higher. The stock turbo runs out of steam at higher rpms, this one doesn't!
Once you've experienced this turbo, you won't complain about slow spool anymore. Trust me.

ZFR6758 spools quickly. If setup and tuned correctly it spools about 200-300 RPMs later than stock which is hardly noticable. Oh yeah and tuned most of the ZFR6758 guys in this thread so I know this one LOL.

Ok cool . That's me sorted . I have 353lbft at 2575rpm so I'm pushing the trans a fair bit. What do you guys run in 3rd gear . I touch 115 mph at 7k rpm.you guys the same ?
