Well I have had a few races. There's a guy with a v8 swapped s10 it's a nice truck raced him on two separate occasions and still beat him. I'll try to upload the video here.
Also raced a f150 raptor. He pulled on me but only had about a car length pretty good considering the difference. I pulled on him once when I honked off but the other races he pulled on me, was good race tho. Have an 07 ss/sc staged 2.

It was from a roll. Looked to be a 2015. Unless my car is being weird? I had beat once out of the three races. When I honked it off I won. Other then that idk

I have a silver Sedan i don't get noticed till i get in the throttle a little then all the Ricer's want to race me knowing the traffic is to dense to race i let them go it pisses me off that they think they won because i don't want to endanger other people. But better safe then sorry.

I had a Red Caviler Reving on me at a Light about 2 years ago my son was in the passenger seat of my car. The kid in the Caviler put a big ass fin on the trunk low profile tires on it horrible exhaust that sounded like 100 cats were getting skinned and just to give him a couple more HP flames over all of his wheel wells. We were side by side at the light I took off slow so he would be next to me lord knows he tried but when I hit second gear I told my son to wave out the window good bye to the Caviler as I shamed him by way to many car lengths. I slowed down and let him catch up he look at me smiled and gave me a thumbs up.
I was in my stock 2009 SS Sedan.

Cops do not hard eye me as I drive by either. I have to instigate a race if I want it so at least I am free to pick on cars that are worth it. Though every once and a while I crush the hopes and dreams of some tard that is $5,000 into some H or K swap on their busted ass Honda. I obliterated an h22 prelude the other night simply because he was being a jerk

I used to get a lot of Mustangs and Civics in my SS/TC.

In the GTO it's mostly just more Mustangs and Civics... Occasionally an old guy in a C5 or C6 realizes I'm not a Grand Prix and they'll try to run me too.

The gen 6's are running similar 1/4 mile times as the gen 5 ZL1's.

I hate that when I'm parked at school and go to my car for books for class there will always be a random kid out there getting in their car and think it's cool to rev up at me and it's just annoying. Had a mid 20s guy rev up his v6 camaro at me as he had just started it up. You can always tell the difference between and idiot and a respectable car owner. No one would rev the **** out of their car upon start up, horrible for the engine. You'd think with some people being in college they'd have a small bit of knowledge but omg... It's ridiculous. I laugh though, that car won't last him if he keeps doing it.

Yeah it doesn't matter what people drive they always gotta Rev their engine like...okay? I've had a dude in an infinite full size suv try to race me and had a jeep Rev at me lol. It must bother them that we drive a cool as car while they drive something plain and boring

Cobalts honestly are generally cool cars. Yes there is a lack of appreciation from "jdm" fanboy's and "euro ...." alike. But domestics will always suffer from that because people care too much what others think, so they come up with harsh opinions along the lines of which most "car enthusiasts(haters)" come up with so they "fit in". lol


We have supercharged LSJ's, stroker 2.4's, and turbo LNF's.
Sound's like a cool engine line up to me, especially by todays standards..


Not only do we have a good choice of engines, these cars are cheap to modify and easy to make quick. Even on a tight budget. Just 400whp on an automatic LE5 with a turbo kit, some supporting mods, and drag slicks, ran an 11.83 1/4 mile(ZZP).


They sound and look better than d*** civic's that's for sure..


The cars are actually aging well in appearance in my opinion, and I have to say, I love my 7 speaker sound system with 10" subwoofer, 6 cd changer, and aux jack..


So yeah for the price, they are pretty cool cars.

I think the cobalts a cool car, just because you don't appreciate the platform anymore doesn't mean you should hate it. It's funny seeing all the hate from people who have moved on from the SS to another platform.
