Yeah, we cleaned my valves and they were not nearly as gunky as Erics were. and he has half the miles I do.

I plan on GMPP.

This is why the best thing I ever did to my car was debadge it a few weeks after buying it. I've never had anyone pull this stuff on me. The untrained eye just thinks I have a regular slow Cobalt sedan. Sleepers FTW.

Lol even with a ss badge and the ss high rise wing I still doubt that 98% of those truck drivers would have any clue of what your car was

True, they'd just think it's a slow Cobalt with ricer stuff added on it.

Ya iv had a few of those truck guys do that lol. One psycho even tried to ram me when I went to turn off after. My bro in law always thought his truck could take my car till one day we went for a ride to get something in my car, his mind changed pretty quickly lol

Sounds like my town. All country boys with their diesels blowing black smoke acting big until there mighty v8 gets analy penetrated by a four cylinder 😎 I have the only cobalt ss in my town so those country boys think it's a riced up cobalt until they see my taillights.

haha my friend at work has a new ram with the 8 speed and he's convinced he could take my cobalt as well.

i am really not sure what they run in the 1/4 mile but i am damn sure it isn't as fast as my balt.

haha I think the noise and the strong midrange torque convinces them that they could take anything short of a super car. they're nice trucks and aren't slow by any means but definitely not Cobalt SS fast, not even a stock LSJ. I think they go to 60 mph in the high 6 second range and mid 15's 1/4 mile at ~ 90 mph.

I raced a lifted Duramax once, thought I was going to win, we took off, and his truck was so fast, it made my car look like it was going in reverse , turns out its got a big turbo, and ran 12.00 at the local track.

You guys be careful, not every diesel truck is a stock with exhaust like most, it makes you feel really stupid when you lose to a full size truck, trust me, doesn't feel good haha.

well I would expect that from a stock LSJ or LNF for that matter. especially if its modded.

The one i raced was modded cause I had just left the Adams County Truck Pulls lol. and he was a contestant.

I'd actually applaud him unless he was a total douche

I personally don't care if I lose to anyone it's all in good fun, specially when you come across the oddities. My friends turbo 7 series is a testament to that

That's usually what is around here too. Lifted turbo diesels and mustangs. They say, "oh you have a turbo? So what, mine spools louder. WTF is that supposed to mean?? Is noise judging power now?

Back when I still had an M62, a little punk maybe all of 5'-2" driving a similar year dodge diesel thought he was cool passing me on a two lane road. He learned his truck was slow that day.

Yeah no kidding. Autozone's everywhere would be sold out of flex pipe and "stainless" tips.

Went to the track couple weeks ago noticed a duramax at the line I said oh **** here we go. Got closer this dude had slicks all the way around and had it locked in 4-HI. Brake boosted, and when that light turned green, the way that thing hooked up and shot down that track was ridiculous. Wish I got a vid of it, I will try next time I get out there, all he told me was that he was running twins, just left me hanging with that.

I never understand how they could possibly think their trucks are fast. I mean were they born in their trucks? They must have had a Honda civic or something in past which is faster than a lifted truck lol.

Well I've seen videos of fast trucks. But it takes a lot to get them fast.
