CSS Fitment Thread VOL. Stance or GTFO
Well I've got some money to blow...I guess I could look into doing a wider wheel and getting more "stanced". Maybe an 18x8.5...just not sure what offset I would run. There's not many HHR's that are stanced.

do u have the brembos? i cant remember
u can probably even run +38 but the 35 is a safe zone from coil to fender
I would like to still get a slight tuck without losing my ride height...I'm thinking an 18x8 +35 is where I'd need to be to pull that off and I'd probably have to still have the fenders rolled. Gotta do some research.

Lovely potato picture. I have not even put 100 miles on it this year with all the work I have put into it! It is at GM getting the recall work done to it right now. Should have it back tomorrow. This picture does no justice. AT ALL. I have a photo shoot coming with mr.gudaguda

Finally got with STR about custom drilling a wheel...they have some blanks right now and can do a set of the 601's in a 5x110. I'm ordering these today...18x8.5 +30 or +35 (he can do either one...need to make that decision before calling). Was going to do a 18x9.5 but I'm really concerned about clearance.

if you're doing a 18x8.5 you should get a +30.. imo. that should be pretty close to flush i would imagine. I don't think you would have any issues on a HHR with a 18x9.5 +35 though
Yeah I'll do the +30...there's someone else running this wheel with an HHR 18x9.5 and there's no way I'd be able to tuck the rears...with enough camber up front I may could get away with it. I'd rather play it safe with the 18x8.5 +30

what I've noticed this past summer.
No matter what wheel you want, there's a way to make them fit.
Nobody thought my wheels would fit, but I'm actually tucking all 4 and I'm borderline sunk in the back, so much so, that I'm most likely going wider for my next wheels. Also, we fitted 13'' wheels with a negative offset on my buddy's 350Z.

I'm actually going to do 18x8.5 +30 up front and 18x9.5 +35 in the rear. I'm hoping to get them ordered this week...just waiting on details back from STR.
I'm running 225/40's right now...can I keep that tire all the way around with this new setup or do I need to look for new rear tires?

match the tires to the wheel if u run staggered. stretched 225/40 on the rears and like no stretch on the fronts. could look goofy
