I honestly didn't notice any difference in traction but maybe a **** hair. from going from 225/40 to 245/40. Notices are very minimal. Don't matter if your going to make power on FWD it's going to spin on regular street tires.

Jeff ran then on the exact rims I have. I'm assuming my strut clearance will be the same, since I have fe5 struts/control arms. I wouldn't think the knuckle is different? I'm sure Powell will know.

Anyway, I know this kind of fitment isn't most of y'all's "cup-o-tea" but I want f*king traction!
damn thats some meat. I am hoping to get some 265's or 275s on my car next summer but I dont think I can do it without riveting on my rear fender flares as they are popping off already.

That looks good nate. I think I like the color of your old car better but the new one is growing on me.

I love your car Nate. Just don't think the gold/chrome looks right. It looks great on red, white, black, dark blue, etc. Just not that color. Maybe it's just me. Just for fun... (my photoshop skillz suck)

That's what I was thinking. As valuable as his LMs are, he can trade them for just about anything.... especially with 8th Gen Civics. Not sure if the staggered setup will hurt or not.

The gold will grow on you, same with the color. Look what happend when I first put the LMs on the wrecked car lol people were confused and then started to like it......kinda like **** sex LOL.

No need to trade when they are 2 pce and can broken down and rebuilt.

Yeah but the gold/chrome thing had been done a million times on red Subarus, VWs, Civics, etc. You may have been first to slap them on a Cobalt but the look wasn't unique or unusual. Take the inner portion off your rims and get them polished to match the lips or plastidip them black. That's an order. JK

Rock whatever you want. No need to change anything because someone else doesn't like it... It doesn't look bad. It actually looks really clean and nice. It could just look better IMO.
