How easy/ hard to make these work?

So, stumbled across these as a possible new set of wheels for the time attack car:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/17X9-STR-517-4X114-3-20-ORANGE-BLACK-FACE-WHEEL-FIT-HONDA-ACCORD-PRELUDE-240SX-/400676374810?hash=item5d4a2c491a&vxp=mtr

STR 517's. Only thing is offset is only a +20 not the 35/45 like the balt wants.

Is there any way to space these out that it wouldnt either 1) look weird or 2) have terrable fitment / be a safety issue?

You need a hub swap. Minimum width of adapters is either 20MM with extended studs or most are 25-28mm. You subtract that from the offset. So with a 25mm adapter youd have a -5 offset. FAAAAHHHGETABOUT

Hubswap to 4x114 and they will fit nicely. Should be around $450 to do so.

+20 is going to be mega hellaflush status, I have 245/40's on a +40 17x9 wheel and it fills out the fender in a normal way. +20 is going to require a fender roll, and some seriously stretched tires on a 9"wheel. definitely not going to be race car fitment

*waits for stanceboys to chime in with "its not that bad"* lol

this is 17x9+45 with a 5mm spacer in the front to clear the strut. so +45 back, +40 effective front. +20 wheels will be poke out 20mm further. just more than .75"

plus 20 will be that bad lol. unless you want serious poke, dont do it.

it will fit on the front fine but the back, not even close
