New wheel teaser

dropped on megans

205/40/17's tires are junk and too little, I have 205/50/17's and am trying to order 1" spacers around this coming Friday, should look good.

My main issue is that I need hub rings, from a 57.1MM hub the wheels are 63MM, I have never bought hub rings before do I just subtract 57.1 from 63MM and buy that size? Also need center caps, might have some custom ones made.

Wow - what a dick?

Anyway... if that is an 8" wide wheel why not go bigger than a 205?? That tire would have a pretty serious stretch on wouldn't it? I have stock wheels on my ss/tc and I'm running 235's

I wouldn't go smaller than a 225, not sure of the aspect ratio though in that size - i'm sure someone could chime in on that.

Now im not sure if you measure all the way out to the lip or what:

And the 205's were free from work that's the only reason I was going to use them, I ended up getting these wheels next to nothing as well, one of them was cracked, its being repaired now.

(googled that myself whoops)

It will say on the rim itself what size they are. Check the back of the rim. I think that the rim itself looks alright on your car but with a bigger properly sized tire they will look better. Don't worry about buddy there, I saw them post in another thread and it was also just a troll of a post.

I think you should just get a lip kit and not the SS kit

Far far far from deep dish, Most of this site rocks stock wheels so for someone that goes aftermarket kinda steps up from being cheap lol.

dont know how to help ya there man. the free 205's will be fine for now, but i would look into some 225/45's same outside dia, and will be a little wider. the 225's on my 17x7's sit flush with th eface of th wheel, i like the way that looks. up to you what you want in the end!

Just have to get the wheel welded unforatunely it wont be for another week or so because of the holiday. Ive got to measure tonight but ive seen 225/45/18's on my buddys car, LNF wheels with 1" spacer and it looks amazing.

Now, im thinking of going with 27MM spacers, so I shouldn't have to cut the studs, and with 7" wheels should look great. Yes, the rear will poke out and rub abit, and I will have to roll the fenders, but keep in mind im not trying to tuck here, whether or not it happens with B&G's I don't know.

If your going to get them to poke make sure you put something between the base and the bumpstop so it doesn't rub.
