installed my zzp catless downpipe today. very quiet paired with the turbo xs gt exhaust but really opens up when in boost. next weekend ill be installing my ottp control arms and then ill be getting my tune. decided to go with BYT for my tune after being strongly reccomended to me by a few other local cobalt buddies that swear by his work.

also got a gauge cluster bezel with dual gauge pods so i can install aeroforce gauges.

Hey bro I just recently pick up my 2009 lnf sedan and I have a g85 in it question to you what you think better for the car 3:82 or trans like you got just wounding how to tell cuz I think might be ss one at my junkyard cuz if I do it Iíll place the clutch to. And how is the gnmp clutch you got is close to stock feel and the car is mostly stock beside downpipe, intercooler front trans mount and back trans mount and zzp tune Iím think to do the control arm bushing here soon

the 4.05 trans is a very good upgrade over the 3.82 trans in our cars. if you are able to come across one then id say go with it. i strongly reccomend one with an lsd but itll be ok without one. they are not stronger then the 3.82 but the gearing helps them hold up to the tourqe better.there is a tag on the top of the trans like the one i pictured above that tells you what trans is in it. as for the gmpp clutch its been a very long time since i drove a stock clutch ss but this clutch is very streetable and its very underrated in how much it can handle. mines been holding up to 368 ft lbs of tourqe with no issues. as of yesterday crate engine depot has the gmpp kit in stock. i also highly reccomend that.

Happy 4th of july all. wasnt too good for me. got stuck in a situation and without thinking went to take off from a stop sign and bottomed out the zzp standard sized intercooler going into the ally and wrecked my radiator. i know as soon as i went into the ally and heard it hit the radiator was done. pushed it a few blocks home too not overheat it and now it sits until the zzp aluminium radiator arrives. intercooler is gonna survive. just scratched a bit.

That's sucks, I've scraped my ZZP intercooler a couple of times but thankfully didn't do anything other than that.

the new zzp oversized aluminium radiator

got it all installed and buttoned up

let my buddy drive it for its maiden voyage. ment alot for him to drive it and see how far it has come. he was the owner of the car before me. it was 82* in pa today and the cruising temps sat around 178-182 depending on if it were going up hills and such. run a tad cooler now then it did with the stocker.

if im getting on it it will go up to around 190 but when im just cruising out on the back roads and such it stays down in that 178 to 182 area. i ran this radiator in my 06 and it would run really cool as well.

i like it and recommend it if needing a new radiator. price is right and install isnt too bad. after struggling for a bit i found removing the intercooler helped with getting the condensor bolted back to the radiator. its a tight fit getting your hands down there.

Looks really nice. I would suggest at least getting the rear cab bolts started and then move to the "t" cabs. Don't do the rears last as they will be stiff and hard to get lined up.

i ended up starting at the rear cab like you stated. went pretty well and took alittle over an hour to get both sides done. car feels tighter but as you can see weather was not on my side today so i couldnt really test these out. ordering the turbo xs fl exhaust now. my muffler is starting to rattle on the gt catback.

mine were not bad at all. my car only has 84k on it. the bushing design in general is kind of garbage in general. doing them was easy on my car. if your planning on going this route then i recommend going with powells control arm bushings. these are ok but not as tight as his bushings.

took the cobalt for an alignment at my local chevy dealership today. i guess i found out why the car pulled so hard under boost. its a night and day difference now. the service writer said it felt way more tight then any other cobalt he has driven. all the mounts and the cab's are doing their jobs.

Mine has Powell's bushings and mounts along with yyz springs and it drives like its brand new minus the torque steer.
