09 cobalt turbo flutter (vid included)

my 2009 cobalt ss turbo with a k&n drop in and stock bpv has a lot of flutter when I let off and I just wanted to make sure it’s normal, I don’t have any flutter while on the throttle just when I am off the gas, just wanting to make sure this is normal

as long as it's off throttle don't worry about it to much. It sounds like the normal bpv letting air out, but it's hard to hear it really well on that video.

When surge happens at full load it is a problem, otherwise don't worry about it.

The forge wont really do anything to prevent flutter if anything it only changes the sound

I kinda want my recirculation sound to be louder but I don’t want to have to spend the money on a chargepipe and bov so hopefully the forge bpv will tide me over till I can afford a bov

I have a k&n typhoon that shipped this morning! The point of this thread was just to make sure what I was hear was indeed flutter and not compressor surge before I started throwing my dp and catback along with an intake on then a 94 octane tune!
