The LNF has already spent a year in the Pontiac Solstice GXP & Saturn Sky Redline so some tuning has already begun. HPTuners has a beta release but it can't fully control the engine yet. The tuning is still very immature and not full featured at this time.
One of the major hurdels of tuning the LNF is the complexity involved in tuning the Direct Fuel Injection.
You might consider updating this, we've had several releases recently specifically for the LNF motors and have seen several vehicles make well over 300hp & 300ftlb to the wheels using HP tuners so while still in its infancy these vehicles are very much tunable now and is a great, inexpensive way to add gobs of both hp & torque.

I don't own and LNF, but I have some experience with turbo'd platforms. I was just curious if Chevy put on a turbo timer on these things?

This presentation says that our tires are all season...

Tirerack.com doesn't seem to think so.

Last April? April 07?

Our tires are summer tires, at least for USA. May be that is a misprint on the PDF.

I will let you know how much it is going to cost to install after the fact, if at all possible. GM Is all over this for me. I would like to buy it, and have them install. Do you know why we can't get the perf display? Lame.

I'm thinkin more along the lines of yankin one from a wrecked cobalt down the road and doing the install myself, UNLESS, GM comes out with a wiring kit and the RPD for a decent price, like $500 MAX, otherwise *** it and I'm better to just wire the damn thing myself, it's such an asset to the car and GM fails to give it to ppl in Canada............GM, are you listening yet?

Guys...the RPD is built on software that works for a 3rd gen system. The 08 is a second gen system. Have talked two dealers and back east...there is no conversion and according to back east there is no plan for one.....dealers have warned against trying to do this yourself since you stand a chance of screwing up your system....even getting the new harness won't get you anywhere because of the programming....

you must be able to get the performance display in canada, it is listed in the options and specifications, but not on the build a cobalt part.

Darrin, I thought so too. Called GM head office even. It is not an option in canada. No debate. There is a listing of all option codes here on the forum. Call you're local dealership with the perf display option code and see if you can order it. It wont even show up. Sucks, but it's not the end of the world. According to the info I have, I can get it installed after the fact because I have an 09.

I agree, it is kind of dumb to have it in all the documentation, ads, etc, then when you go to buy it, they tell you it's not available :P
However I weasled out a 21 800 price for my brand new 09 TC G85 so I cant really complain.
