No, not at all, especially considering the versatility of the vehicle. It will appeal to many who need lots of functionality, but want a little zoom to go with it.

And unlike the Caliber (Chrysler's answer to Aztek!), you can actually stand to look at this one!

Spectral 12-21-2007 03:00 PM

Lol this is MUCH better looking than that ugly caliber.
Hopefully its as mod friendly as the Caliber though. lol.

Im wondering after seeing this if the 2008 SS/TC is going to be around the same pricing levels.

JPizzle 12-21-2007 04:15 PM

Yea, it looks alright. I agree. I just hope the SS/TC is priced similar...

RaineMan 12-22-2007 09:26 AM

nice... very competitatively priced... a lot of car for the money

Blue_Balt 12-22-2007 11:08 AM

That's a good price for something with that type of performance. The Balt ss/sc should be priced around the same IMO.

JDMjunkie 12-22-2007 03:17 PM

ugh...the HHR is hideous

suburbanrobot 12-22-2007 03:21 PM

that is probably MY NEXT ride.... I'm gonna keep my SC at least another 2 years and pay it down....
but, the HHR SS will be both fast and functional....
2 SS's in the driveway would be nice
plus the HHR SS should be able to fit 2 mountain bikes in the back :twothumbs

victory_red_SS 12-22-2007 03:23 PM

It seems like a good deal but to me, it is not much better looking than the Calibur.

Orange07ssinfl 12-22-2007 03:38 PM

I like it. Drove a base model for a rental while my car was being fixed and i actually liked it.

I like both, not sure which one I like best tho.

No need to refer to it as SS/TC anymore since there will be ONLY one SS Cobalt in 2008 - it's about time!!!

Onyxd04Redline 12-23-2007 03:06 AM

No 6spd Manual
No 5spd Auto

What a joke. GM needs to get there act together. I will never buy another car unless it has either of those listed above.

Borrowed my dad's HHR to go mountain biking. You can fit two inside, upside down side by side and I don't think we had to remove the front wheel either.

halfj99 12-23-2007 01:16 PM

theres a few things i dont like about the hhr interior...but overall its a great car for somone who wants gas mileage and versatility

Herndon_High_SS 12-23-2007 01:19 PM

I really like the rims on the HHR. Very nice.

RBC 12-23-2007 01:28 PM

As soon as they offer 0% on the 08 HHR SS and the 08 Cobalt SS I will be buying one of each. The Cobalt for me and the HHR for the wife.

Hate to break the news but isn't the SS corvette coming out next year. And if that doesn't have a six speed then I would cry.

UmeNNis 12-23-2007 01:51 PM

UGH its the ZR1! NEVER SS CORVETTE. Get up on the times, man!

I was talking about the SS cobalt. The Corvette has had a 6spd manual since 1986
