2010 ss/tc gmpp clutch questions
I talked to my dealer today about getting a new gmpp clutch put in. They said they couldn't see gm performance stuff in their system so they couldn't give me an exact quote but It'll be about 1300 with parts and labor. I don't know if I want to get a Ky clutch, incase something is wrong with it or it fails. Then I would have to pay another 880 dollars labor to replace it again. They are likely to back the gm clutch if something is wonky with it. I'm wondering If this an okay clutch for me with my mods. I've heard it's good even in the turbo'd cobalts. Also can you please send me a link to it with the part number so I can give that to them to make sure they get the right clutch.
Another thing I wanted to ask is if its normal to just scotch brite the flywheel. That's what they said they do. My family has bought 4 new vehicles from them and they always look out for us. I trust their judgement I've just never seen that on here. Seems reasonable though. They said unless you have chatter they leave it. Thank you.

Ecotec LSJ Clutch Upgrade Kit 19212712
This is the best price I've seen as well. It comes with more than the zzp kit but both are comparatively priced.

Just replace your flywheel it's not worth cheaping out since labour is the most expensive part. Unless they flywheel was recently replaced put a nEw one in. Zzp has the best priced flywheel.
