What is the top speed of the 2010 Cobalt SS Coupe?

Yes, to 156 or something like that.

Yes, with an aftermarket tune you can set it to however high your heart desires.

 

your never gonna get that fast so dont worry lol at fontanas track aka the roval my top speed was 140mph and i left off because loss of traction around the banked turn

 

I know the ss/sc's can do almost 160.. I've gotten mine to 150 on the autobahn :P

On the stock tune the SS/SC has a 158 MPH speed limiter . The SS/TC has a limit of 155. Believe it or not the high rise wing cut's 5-7 mph off the top speed due to drag. You can raise the speed limiter on both cars with an aftermarket tune .

 

I had mine up to 250km/h, than I got GMS1 and my car had problems reaching 240km/h. Don't know why. Maybe a bit of wind would be guess.

 

Pretty sure the ss sc had no limited. I thought it was drag limited. I have had mine over 160.

 

Had mine to 151 on a GMS1. But I'm interested in a " stage1" is any different top speed wise.

 

The SS/SC's stock file is limited to 158mph

Your calculator ignores drag. Even with the limiter removed the car doesn't have the power to hit 175.

 

yea i've heard about ppl hitting around 160 before. thats about it, stock...
must have been going downhill

With my new turbo I have pegged the needle.... Easily

 

with a tune yeah you might hit 168mph BUT you need to raise the redline in order to do that.

 

I did 160mph and it stopped there. Electronically though. Car def had more to go.

As mentioned above:

stock LNF limiter is set for 155

stock LSJ limiter is set for 158

tuned either can be set to whatever your heart's desire

 

I did 150+ in my 1999 2.5 Impreza RS supercharged coupe a few year back. I was trying to get around a 2gen DSM turbo Eclipse. Ugh....i never did. That was one fast Eclipse.....

I've had my car up to a GPS confirmed 161mph, on a track of course.

ive never had enough road to get past 134mph, but it felt like it had a lot more in it at that point

 

I went 140 and it Def had more to go
