22 Psi Trifecta VS 21 PSI GMS1
Wondering if there is a big difference between the gms1 at 21 psi and a trifecta at 22 psi? is it worth it to go for the trifecta? its only 1 psi more but i heard the trifecta makes more hp and tq for every psi.

Yes it is noticeably more powerful.
i did a 3rd gear pull vs a member here last summer, he had GMS1 i had trifecta 22psi, both of us were stock minus the tune.

i did a 3rd gear pull vs a member here last summer, he had GMS1 i had trifecta 22psi, both of us were stock minus the tune.

however, the trifecta is much more potent than the gms1 tune, see video above

if you hear closely you can hear both engine in same time, i waited for him to floor it first.
Thats the difference we had.
And the camera was double face taped as a head cam on the cap i was wearing.

The difference is like night and day!!! My dual tune is a GMS1 20psi and a Trifecta 22psi.. With the trifecta the speedometer climbs like champ while the GMS1 takes longer. Also with Trifecta 2nd gear WOT are insane!!!

All jokes aside that is a good idea. Way cheaper than a Go pro hd and minus the sound does everything the same. I don't need sound to know whats going on.

It's all about warranty. Personally I can wait since it's not worth the risk IMO. And remember if you get caught don't make excuses to yourself you gotta pay to play :p

hi my ss tc 2010 is in the garage for the winter and she only as 3800 klm on it .
the gm sg1 if i am right does not void your warrentie does it ?

any after market tune will be better than the stage one if the tuner knows what they are doing. The stage one tune is basically another factory tune with a little more boost and less torque managment. Trifecta offers some good tunes but i personally perfer HPtuners. I like to have the ability to make what ever changes i want when ever i want and have complete controll over my car. If your someone that isnt into tuning your self and plan on doing a few mods then leaving it alone, either way is fine. I have seen great numbers from both programs.

Good to see another tuned cobalt around! should meet during the summer.
Depending the tuner you can get more agressive tune with HPT using the trifecta basefile.
Im more than happy with trifecta though right now.

isnt GMS1 20psi, trifecta is 22 or 24... the ricer way of looking at it is 1 psi = 10hp.
So your asking, what will you actually notice 10HP, 20HP, 30HP?
