i went to turn my key off and it wouldnt turn back...basically it was stuck on..

if its new the key is pretty rough and not warn in...but you got it off right? could be a bad cut key or the lock mechanism. did you try your spare key?

i had this problem when i had my ss 2.4....it turned out it was the neutral saftey switch had fried and teh dealership had to warranty it

well the worst damn thing happedned..the key snapped off in the ignition..i talked to a dude that works at the dealership since they were closed 2day..and he said it happens every once in a while that sumthin gets stuck..my car was runing for a while...couldnt turn it off...i had to pull my fuel pump fuse and dissconnect the battery..and i left it at the dealership...man i tell you ive had a decent amount of problems with this car..e-brake dont work ..broken shifter cables..now this...wtffff

for future reference don't try cranking the key that hard, it should be a fluid motion. and also for future reference under the steering column is a lil tab that can be opened up, revealing a manual key lock override. you press that in and you can turn your key.

You couldn't stall the car with the clutch?
