best place to locate bov

Im planning on buying the injen charge pipe and turboxs Type H-RFL valve today and I want to get them to weld on the flange. Where is the best place to locate the flange along the injen pipe?

Thanks guys

Where ever you think it won't be in the way of oil changes/spark plug changes and will clear your hood.

Best location? Back in the box, and returned.

Our cars don't need and don't like vent-to-atmo BOVs.

You do realize you need to tune for it, right?

ya and I called them and they said that its the same valve there just coming out with a specific cobalt ss mounting kit or somthing like that. IDK lol I dont think that kit really did anything because he was saying how you could just weld the flange into your charge pipe. It may be like a bolt up kit somewhere he was taking at like the speed of light and after it all I was lie........oooook haha

like I want to get a Tune eventually so I can run the bov 100% atmospheric but tunes are expensive and I dont want to void this extended warranty that I got. :| I have a 2010 and its already been to the shop like 2 or 3 times for crazy sensors. like my passenger airbag alert was like "service passenger airbag" had to replace the whole seat. It was under warranty though so I feel like it would be a bad move to void the warranty.

Modding without a tuning on these cars is pointless any way. You aren't gaining anything, hell the intake is throwing off your fuel trims. Its like giving someone weightlifting supplements without even going to the gym.

Your still gonna get that hp. It just limits it when you get higher in the gear.

Yes leaned down will essentially limit power down to 260 no matter what mods. If I was in charge of warranty at a dealer I would instantly void your warranty for an aftermarket bov. A bov can cause a lot of problems that a dealer won't want to mess with. If your so concerned about keeping your warranty then stop modding your car..

ya I know the bov can cause alot of problems. I want it but I dont. I want the sound but I dont want the problems. Ya I guess the best choice would be to just not do it. If I was getting a tune it would be different but idk. and ya it will limit your engine at 260 but you will still get the advantage of the increased air flow from an intake. Your not using all 260 hp when your lower in gear accelerating its only going to cut off when it reaches the 260 mark when your really accelerating real hard. Your mods will still increase your cars performance, just to the point of 260 hp. My car is much more responsive and quicker compared to before I got any mods

pretty much mods will increase performance to that point but once you reach it it'll stay there.
