Your car is certainly impressive, wasn't trying to say it isn't. I was just pointing out that half the cars at every test and tune around here seem to run 11s and even a few in the 9s. New 5.0s in the 11s around here are the norm.

I honestly dont see how the coyote was overhyped when it has put down the #'s it has.
Cool a modded cobalt beat a stock 5.0. Id take the mustang any day of the week. Sure the Cobalt has a good motor and can be made to handle well. But the mustang is simply a superior platform. And while the LNF is a strong motor its a bit overhyped as well.
Ive owned mustangs camaros dsm's etc...
Point being is the mustangs can run strong in stock form depending on options and driver and for a car available for less than 40k to run low 12's showroom stock is pretty nice!

but the simple fact remains that 90% of them showroom cond dont run low 12s or even touch into the high 12's on stock rubber. Im done beating a dead horse. And the TC over hyped? thats funny most people dont even know a turbo cobalt was released ive heard people saying all ss' were supercharged smh

Just read about the tc on here. You would think its god's chariot half the time.
And if you read on here you'd think they all ran a full second faster than 90% of them actually do.
Point is the capability and potential is there with both cars. Ive seen some damn impressive numbers coming from normal people and not just pro drivers. Yes Ive seen some numbers Ive laughed at. But does that make it overhyped? No just means theres just as many crappy mustang drivers as there are cobalt drivers.
Am I surprised when a 320-360fwhp cobalt that weighs 3000lbs beats a 360-420rwhp mustang that weighs 3700-3800lbs? Not at all. But is it safe to say that the mustang has far more potential and that there are already street legal stock longblock coyote's running faster than any street legal cobalt ever has? yes.
Is it cool when a cobalt does win against a mustang? yes.

raced a 2012 brembo/6speed 3:73 car twice today. 40-140 and won the first one by 3 buses and the second by 2 buses. it seemed like it was starting to slightly pull after 120..i started both races in 3rd gear too. the guy was about 45-50 and was super pissed when we got to a light...

What Aarron said is so true everyone thinks the cobalt's are only supercharged lol. Another good one I had a kid in an eagle talon tell me the other day at a car met my car was not an ss because he couldn't hear my super charger in theory i didn't have one, Until i popped the hood and the kid did the walk of shame lol.
Do I think its cool when a 4cly beats any v8 yes lol.
Do I think the look on the v8' drivers face is price less yes.
Do i expect to win all the time no but have fun racing none the less.
