boosting in warm weather
my car is trifecta tuned, i was always reaching 23psi boost no problem and the car felt quite aggressive. lately i have noticed that no matter how hard i get on it boost peaks at 20. i did a few data logs and emailed vince and he said boost can drop slightly in warmer weather but that he'd take a look at the logs and get back to me. havent gotten a reply yet, but was just wondering if anyone else has experience a significant drop in power in warm humid weather. I know it is somewhat normal for turbos to run that way, but does this mean i should be re-tuning the car every season?

your power will be different from cool and hot weather. Just wait a couple months till it gets cool and you'll feel the difference like crazy. Drive it at night, you should even feel a difference there.

I'm originally from buffalo ny, but I've lived here in Jacksonville fl for close to 15 years.. Moved here when I was 8.. I miss the summers up north but not the winters lol, the winter weather here is awesome.. Gets pretty cold but no snow, the cars run amazing, so many more people are out to the track and late Saturday night runs.. As for the summer.. Eh, at night its not too bad but during the day blows..

If a tune is aggressive it will need to be revised ( TO ME EVERY SINGLE WEATHER CHANGE LIKE FROM SUMMER TO FALL AND ECT) just because of air changes and ect....... But a car that was tuned in weather that was 30* will act alot different when the temps are say 80* because of the Differences between the two....

On topic:
Air density obviously plays a huge factor in how the vehicle is going to perform.
Hot humid air is WAY less dense and oxygen deprived as compared to dry cool/cold air.... hense obviously leading to noticable performance variences. This is completely normal for any vehicle, but it's especially noticable in a performance application
Another factor to keep in mind for those who notice you can't spin the tires nearly as easy in the summer as you can in the winter is, well, your tires will stick much better on a warmer surface as compared to a cold surface. So that combined with a little less power = less tire spin.
