Brake question!

Hello this Is my first time posting here so hope I didn't screw anything up or post in the wrong place! So to the question I have a 2010 Cobalt Ss, I just ordered zzp's bigger Brembo brake kit which includes new calipers. My question being what are the chances of being able to take my factory Brembo calipers and putting them in the rear?!? Possible? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I'm curious. Thanks!

Probably could be done with some custom brackets but all you'd end up doing is completely screwing the brake balance. Really not worth the time especially with how little the rear brakes do in comparison, you'd need to redo most of the brake lines most likely so that you can install a valve to adjust the brake balance for it to work at all.

Anything is possible, however...You're gonna need another set of caliper brackets and a place to mount them. That doesn't exist in the rear so you'll need to weld them in precisely the right place. Then you'll need another set of front rotors, the rear rotors are too small for the front calipers. Probably gonna have to re-route the brake lines to connect to the calipers, and figure out a way to make the E-brake functional again. If you can pull that off you'll have to figure out a way to balance the brake bias cause those 4 piston Brembo's are no joke. That's just a rough guess.

I 'think' Powell makes a rear Brembo conversion, but its for drum rear brakes not disc rear. You could buy a junker rear drum axle and use that.

but again, not sure if its for the front LNF Brembos or not
