Brand new 2008 Cobalt SS pictures

Nothing really special . Everyone made such a deal about the mesh grills not being the Sema car . Chevy finally put the mesh grills in

Theyve come full circle now , these are the exact same grills that were in the 2004 Cobalt SS concept ....only took 4 years to get them on the production car

2004 concept SS grills

I don't like the mesh style. It would look good as a stainless steel or aluminum mesh grille like on the CTS-V. But we can't expect the manufacturer to think of everything.

Theres pictures of the new microsuede seats in this section in another thread . They look as bolstered as the Recaro's but arent Recaro's .

I like the new grill but is it just me or is that blue one have some green in it at the last shot? Is that the concept one? Also was that another yellow SS/TC in the background?

The 2004 show car was a true color changing chameleon paint . Blue to purple to gold to green .

Eh...looks just like the 08 Scion tC's grill. I like the customs a bit better. And the whole center line is like...BIGGER...as well as that chevy emblem...I don't like that part. And I like the 05-07 rims better too. But man is that car gunna be pwnage! SRT-4's watch out!

Personally I like it all. The mesh grill looks just like the mesh grills on the SS Trailblazers. And the new rims will compliment the new Brembo brakes.

They're a big corporation and they're run by commity and we all know that = fucked up!

can't wait to get my hands on one. and i'm curious if chevy will have any money left to promote the new cobalts after spending all that money on the new malibus. every 2 mins i see a new malibu commercial. "beware camry, heres comes the the malibu." what about "beware mazda speed3, here comes the cobalt SS turbo?"

Chevy had to ditch the camaro because of tougher safety requirements by the government...namely the weak roof and t-tops....ever wonder y u don't see t-top cars being made anymore, and anyone who has seen the result of f-body rollover knows first hand.....chevy didn't have another platform ready for a new camaro so the axed it until they could decide on something

I wanted to have Race Mesh Grills make a front grill and rear valance grills for me but they need the car (located in CA!) and they wanted like $500 for the front alone... They do real nice work though...

I was thinking for trying to make one myself since I have the "Owl Mod" damaged grill that has the slats busted out of it... But the mesh is real expensive to buy just to play with...
