From personal experience, from a roll with your tune and him being bone stock it'll be close but you should pull out ahead.

From a dig, he will most likely get the jump on you and win. You could possibly run him down by 120 though...

From a roll you'll win easy. Gtos are heavy pigs. I've personally taken out some that had bolt ons. From a dig he'll probably get you.

he might get you from a dig...you should prolly get him from a roll. he weighs 800ish pounds more than you but prolly has a few ponies on you.

I have a feeling he'll kill you. 400 bhp & 400 lb-ft of torque? Yeah, I think it'll be hard to beat that. Prove me wrong, though. A friend of mine has a relative with a GTO 6.0, albeit with an automatic tranny, & that thing is sooooo fast.

Those numbers are to the crank. Its more like 340whp and tq. They really aren't as fast as people think. Its an ls2 in a big heavy car. A bolt on/ tuned ss/tc can take a c6 ls2 from a roll and they weigh much less.

A tuned, bolt-on LNF should never lose a 40 roll to a stock 6.0 GTO.

There isn't much to worry about with a stock GTO, they just aren't that quick. A modded LNF car should have no problem, a well modded LSJ would keep up just fine. Mid 13's car at best, nothing to worry about.

Very nice. I almost traded my car for a midnight blue 6.0 bone stock with 17k miles on it.

have a friend with a ls2 gto that has long tubes, x pipe, intake and a canned tune. he made 385 whp and 385 wtq. my friend with a ss/tc has a k&n intake, charge piping, full 3 inch exhaust( catless dp and muffler delete) gm stage 1. he made 295 whp and like 305 or 310 wtq on the same dyno as the gto. they have run and if the cobalt brake boosts he gets almost a car on the gto from a 40-45 roll.

I want to get into a stock, nice, quick car so I can save for a house. And cam's are near worthless on a Terminator. Cost vs gain is not near what it is for LS motors, or even the Hemi's. You might pick up 30-40whp if you're lucky.

I've raced one with I, E, and Tune and I stayed right with him. You should have no problem with a stocker.

i threw lengths on my buddy's gm stg 1 with dp (im sure cp/intake/and muffler delete isn't gonna add THAT much) but that was when i was stock.

5.7 or 6.0? 6.0 with full bolt ons and tune pulls me at 110 and keeps pulling...

x2 since he's stock it should be fairly close. Speeds above 120 I think he will creep up.
