Cant get any better than 13.6mpg!!!?

So, I have had my car for almost 3 weeks now and i cant seem to get any better than 13.6mpg. I have reset the gauge and i drive as slow as possible shifting before 3k and everything and no matter what my mpg's are really low. I am spending over $100 per week and i dont drive very much(500 miles in 3 weeks)My intake filter is new and i put in some fuel treatment and nothing has changed.
If anyone has any ideas or similar issues that you have fixed please let me know

Is the check engine light on? There is obviously something wrong with the car.

I could watch the gas gauge physically move as I drive. My Cobalt got gas mileage like a full size HD truck. I took it in it turned out it needed a serious alignment. Get one, it's like $44 that might be your issue.

Lol.. That's the mpg of a 1995 suburban, if you have warranty I'd take it in. If not.. Research more.

Out of all the problems with my car mpg has not been one, it's actually a highlight of the TC.

Me at Honda dealership: I didn't end up with a si because they are gutless
Salesman: it's because they get good milage
Me at Honda dealership: I'm pretty sure my car gets better milage and has 3x more torque

First off check to see if the purge valve is stuck open... second see if the 02 is bad, third see if your leaking fuel..

I'm getting around 26.5 with alot being highway . Claims of 30+ seem a little outlandish to me since on the highway cruising @ 60 I'm seeing 32 on gauges . When I was doing slot if stop and go I was getting 21-22 ish . Something has to be wrong .

wow. I see 23-25 mpg with city driving and a slightly heavy foot. I see 28-30 highway same conditions. do you have 46 redlights on your commute to work? If so, your solution is to find a new job.

A vac leak would also cause this, but I think you would go into reduced power mode with a leak that size.

What's your engine temp? With many vehicles the engine won't go into closed loop until it's up to temp. If the thermostat is sticking you will be running very rich. It should eventually give you a CEL but it could cost you a lot of gas before that happens.

wow, a lot of you chimed in on this, great...
First of all, my car is stock other than a muffler delete i did yesterday, second, that 13.6 was highway and in town driving mix at reving at 4k at the most, so no i wasnt driving hard nor am i tuned, but there is not much power at all till 3rd gear and you can feel it kick in like a rocket if im on it, so i def. need to have it looked at by the dealer since i have a full extended warranty.
Oh, my car has 30,800 miles on it btw...
Thanks guys for your replies, i just didnt know if i could check something myself so i didnt have to go to the dealership..

Looks like a vacuum leak, bad sensors, or gas leak could be my only issues so far(which is exactly what i was thinking anyways) that would make it run like this and have bad mpgs...

engine coolant temp is normally around 198-210,so i dont think the thermostat is sticking either, and last tank i only got 190 miles to the tank on 93 mobil gas

Same here, but that's because I drive like a jackass and can't stay out of the ******* boost.
