Clutch position sensor- no crank

Has anyone replaced this? Having a no crank/start problem with a good battery and starter. I'm leaning towards the clutch position sensor because in past weeks I've had to press the clutch a few times occasionally to get it started. But as of this morning it is not starting at all. Looked up at the clutch pedal and see that sensor jammed in there and it looks difficult to replace. Any advice is appreciated thanks.

no idea but would like to know. My wifes 2004 Elantra had a clutch position sensor issue once. Had to bring it in cause I had no idea what was the problem and it turned out to be it. Would be nice to see how much money I could have easily saved....

Yeah I'd rather not pay to get it fixed. I'm thinking it's either that or possibly a bad ground

well, for future reference or anyone wondering it wasn't the switch. Bad starter grounds/ weak starter. Cleaned them up and good to go

I see you aleady found a fix but the clutch switch for the starting circuit is right above the clutch pedal and takes about 30 seconds to replace

I didn't see one there. Only saw one way up there and it didn't look like it would take 30 seconds. I don't know if they changed the designs but I'm pretty sure they did at some point. This is for an 09 ss but I think my 06 was a different design

Both my lnf and lsj have that exact switch. Ive tackled starting problems with both of them. There are 2 switches for the clutch pedal. Upper is related to cruise control, lower is related to starting circuit.

Mine looks like the op's. I also don't have that button looking thing and it's a PITA to replace. Have to move steering column
