Cobalt at home on BlackHawk Farms Raceway! Video!
Took some time but I finally got around to editing my video on BlackHawk Farms Raceway. Overall it was a good day, with the exception of the EBC yellows not being suitable for aggressive track use, and on my 4th session my shift linkage broke, but none the less I had alot of fun.
Here is the video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO_7nJn2wh8 only reason I put music in the video is because the GoPro does not take quality sound and you can barely hear anything so I substituted in music so it wasn't boring. |
:twothumbs Wish I could have heard some engine reving and tire squealing though.
|
I liked the point of view with the camera
|
Wish there was car audio, but still fun to watch. Try Cobalt XR1s. Pricey, but worth it.
|
I love NT05's
|
So, what kinda lap times were you putting down at Blackhawk?
|
yea I wish the gopro could take better audio but what can you do?
I'm planning on getting Hawk DTC-70s for the front and the DTC-60s for the rear. My GF was timing my laps with a stop watch and the my best was a 1:15.36.. So far NASA TTC class record lap time is 1:21.XX |
Pretty piano....and cool vid

Nice vid's. Did you drive there on the yellowstuffs, or swap them in at the track. I've got a free set of them and was thinking of swapping the stock rear pads out for them yellowstuffs for auto-x/track days. Did the pads crumble/ fail, or just fade after a few laps?

On my second session, the brakes felt much better after going through a heat cycle but I wouldn't recommend them for aggressive track use. I had to start braking way before the first brake marker and they were very unpredictable. I had to keep adjusting my braking points. I definitely recommend them for autox and very light hpde use. |
