Ugh. Please, no. I want them to just dish out more tiny compact hatchback MPG cars that I'd hate to drive to compete rather than merge.

Never thought I would see the day. I know GM and BMW once were thinkin about merging a while back I thought that would have been a much better match. I mean what the **** does dodge have to offer GM shitty motors that burn oil?

I just thought of the Viper and COrvette name

First thing that comes to my mind where i hear this is interesting lol but honestly if this happens and 2 of the top3 big dogs merg together does that mean GM can sell cars for what ever since there compettion is now part of them. Does this mean that the deals everyone stives on be gone? Anyone have any thought on this?

GM and Chrysler are not the only two automakers... how do you figure a merger would lead to that? Have you ever heard of..... *gasp* Toyota?

I am saying if they do it then sooner or later ford will merge with someone. Ford has lost a lot over this past year.

35% of the market would be GM. I believe they can handle it and keep it afloat until our economy get out of the *******. As long as they run them as 2 separate entities they would be fine, I just dont see them going through with it. I for one am for it.

My car is better then your cars ..

LOL

anyway...... GM just needs to get rid of all the seperate brands ESPECIALLY BUICK GMC HUMMER for starters . Why would you create 20 different companies to all compete against them selves an then try an regulate it. If they bought dodge GM is done for .

Keep GMC too, and inplement the Hummer vehicles into it. Both are truck only categories. A GMC with the offroading of a Hummer would be cool.

I say kill Hummer, kill GMC since it's all rebadges anyway, and unless they're serious about Pontiac being a performance division, then kill it too.

GM has wanted something to compete with Jeep for years. Hummer was that brand til they created a massive poser mobile instead. They probably want Jeep and the minivans. Other than that they compete in every vehicle segment which would do neither company any good because its just more brands you have to fund since both companies strength is in trucks/SUVs.

Cerberus has been trying to split up Chrysler. They are trying to sell the Viper and Jeep is still worth money.
