I am about to order the Dejon charge piping for just the hot side. Before i do so, how hard is it to install? is there a write up on here somewhere? thanks Sam

It's really not too hard to install. The most annoying part for me was getting under the car and connecting it to the intercooler. All in all it took me and a friend about an hour just because it was the first mod to my car and I still wasn't familiar with everything yet. Good luck!

great name. Mines Sam too. Its not too bad. I'm not sure about the SC but the TC it was pretty easy. The only real problems I had was, like Shez said, taking off the intercooler part and there was a Hex bolt holding the stock charge pipe to the top of the motor that was a bitch to get to. Other than that...too easy. Mine rubbed a little on the hood tho. Not bad. I love this pipe.

You can order the whole set up from Dejon with the flange welded on and they also sell the bovs. I have red Dejon piping with a black HKS SSQ mounted on it and it looks sooo good.

basic handtools is all that is needed. Screw drivers, socket sets.... make sure you order them with the t-bolts, and a trick to keeping them on is get some aerosol hairspray and spray the inside of the couplers it'll keep them kinda glued to the pipes.

I had a lift when I did mine but it wasn't hard at all took me like 20 minutes

piping

I notcied the piping rubbing on the hood so i did a little pushing and tightning and lowered the piping enough to get it from rubbing. I also put some rubber stripping under the hood on the spots where it was rubbing so all is well now. Make sure you get a flange welded in for an hks.

Autoanything has a phone order only sale going... if you call before 11:00 tonight you can get the Injen Hot Side piping kit shipped for $190... its 10% off, normally $212 shipped

but if you are stuck on Dejon, go for it, just thought I'd throw that out there.... here is also Injen's install guide, which I guess is universal:

can you use Silicone to lube the couplings? I have my Injen piping in hand, waiting on the t-bolt clamps

Weird. I never had any rubbing problems with the intercooler piping. I also have the HKS SSQ mounted right after the first bend from the turbo on the horizontal piece of pipe.
