You will really like it. You going full e or e47? I've been happy with e47.

I am going with e47 for now, but I broke the car at the drag strip this Sunday. It seems that my throw out bearing is not working and letting me into gear. I have ordered the GMPP clutch kit which should have the new throwout bearing in it also. should be good to go after installing that I hope.

This has been a really interesting project to tune. The data is completely different because of the lower weight. It holds 23psi till redline bo problem! I actually thought it had a different turbo for a bit.

E47 with 1600 lbs and big tires would be a blast.

All I can say is WOW! this thing has come alive running on E47. we did a little 60-100 2 tunes ago and it only took 3.542 seconds. I will run it again once we are done tuning it on E47.

Nice! E47 really wakes it up. I've done sub 4.0 on my cobalt on e47, basically stock turbo.

so I lost in the finals at the track last night because they re-glued the track (some big cars had grudge races) while our cars cooled down. after they glued that thing down I could not keep my car in gear. I would spin off the line in first and then when it hooked it would pop out of gear?? this happen to anyone else?

My fifth gear does that after a quick high speed ham fisted shift.

Stays in gear on decel and next to no load. But even just slowly adding load it'll pop out of gear real quick. Can hold in gear with no issues.

that is just wrong, I can't bring myself to run an auto. lol Maybe it is time to throw in a LSD transmission.

I don't do it regularly it was just part of figuring out the issue.

Also don't go auto. Turns it from a super fun track car to a strictly drag/ half mile car.

Like others have said, if you plan on doing anything else with this other than drag racing I would highly recommend against going auto as well. I know for a fact you don't want your transmission shifting around during an autocross run and I would imaging the same would be true for track driving at times. I just don't think it would keep up well with rapid deceleration followed by acceleration or circumstances where you want to hold high RPM, through a corner, with low throttle/low load. As you said I would agree with considering an LSD transmission.

this is first and foremost an autox car so I will be keeping the standard. it has not slipped out of gear again so I think the answer is just stay off the glued tracks. lol

we just ran our first autox with the tires this weekend. only problem is that it rained saturday (we still ran them) and on sunday it was 47* F so getting them to fire up only happened on my last 2 runs or so. now with that said, OMG this thing can turn violently. I was .5 seconds behind fastest car of the day which is a guy in a full modded vet that took 4th at nationals last year. He drove to MS from TN to run our event. I was averaging a 1 - 1.5 seconds decrease every lap as I got comfortable and we made adjustments on the car.

I made my first adjustments which was to soften the rear. I am on 4 clicks off of full soft, plan on working on from end next year. tire pressure was 12lbs in front (no rolling) and 14 lbs in rear. can't wait to see what happens on a 90* day.
