Should have held out. He had just gotten his license and I gave him the dad speech pretty much. I said RESPECT the car. apparently not he blew out the turbo i replaced and screwed up the transmission lol. zzzzzzz

I sold mine to some kid and seen it about a year later

he had removed my custom made projectors and installed some ebay ones that looked awful and he curb rashed all 4 of the wheels so bad they looked like terrible.

but it was still running at least.

I had a 76 firebird formula that my dad and I restored years ago, that I sold to a friend. His son got t-boned at a light 2 weeks later and totaled it while taking it for a spin. I know the feeling.
