Engine Coolant Temps

I was reading about the temps for when the fans kick on and what is normal temps, etc. My SS I feel the fan engage at 194f. Reading the posts however, state that fan 1 kicks on around 204 and the high fan around 230? The highest I have seen since having my car has been this past month (120 degree weather in Vegas) at 201 and it was while at idle and went back down once moving.
My 06 LS the fan kicks on around 212 and I've seen it as high as 223. So with the SS what is the actual normal temp range? What temp does yours engage?

Mine usually kicks the low speed on at 194*, and high kicks on at 196*. From there it creeps to 199*, then drops back down to 194* and shuts off the high and low kicks off at 192*. Cruising I usually see 183*, but this is all in Illinois so hottest I ever see is usually low 90's, but mostly it's 80's in the summer with massive humidity.

So yours is pretty much the same..when I'm driving home from work which is usually with the flow of the air pattern, it will go up to 198 while driving. Then when i come to a light off the highway it will go down to 194, which is odd.. Sitting it gets lower, driving its higher.

HPT tables show an LNF with the stock tune commanding the fan on low at 204, then on high at 220, at least on a 2008 and 2010 stock files I have.

I'm sure there is one in HPT's repository, the ones I have are pulled from cars i've tuned. What do you need that is 2009 specific? There were very little changes in LNFs from year to year.

With the issues I've been having I'm getting to the point to where I want to go back to stock on the tune and start fresh.

Whoever your tuner is should be able to load a stock tune without a problem. They are readily available online.
