Can anyone tell me if their F35 upper mount is easy to move? I been tracking down this first gear notchy shift when coming out of first and my mount is out right now and I can move it around with ease. There is quite a few cracks. I have a video of it if someone wants to give it a suggestion.

 

Yes the upper mount is very bendy.... I replaced with OTTP. Not really sure if thats your issue though.... the F35 is kinda clunky....

 

I was looking at the OTTP upper trans mount. Do you have bad vibrations or any noticeable downsides to it? How you like it? I have the Powell front lower mount already?

 

I just received and installed the F35 OTTP upper trans mount. After I centered the mount and put some blue loctite on it. Weird that it didn’t come with a washer/lock washer. I installed it and put the new plate and centered it to the body of the car. Installed was a breeze besides the centering of each piece took some time. Test drove it for a few miles and some nice 2nd and 3rd gear pulls.

Overall, the car shifts better and don’t get the clunk or any awkward feeling through the shifter or driveline. Nice and smooth so far so I think this fixed my 1st gear releasing to neutral or even 2nd gear. My mount must of been in bad shape but it wasn’t separating.
