From what Ive seen, a stock SS/SC does almost 150, and the TC does over 160. Thats not an insignificant difference. And would probably take every bit of 50+hp to get that.
But thats not what this thread is about.

Showcase Chevrolet in Westminster...I emailed about 10 dealerships in my area...I only got a few replies about taking orders for new cobalts...most of them required a $1000 deposit and I didn't have that much at the time, but Showcase only wanted $200 so I went in immediately filled out all the paperwork got the final prices chose my options and the order was placed on the 26th of April. It should be done in the second week of June and at the latest right before July. Black on black with everything except navigation because I'm a human map of southern California. It's gonna be a nice birthday present to myself from myself. Ü
Placed my order a week ago.
Heartland Chevrolet Liberty, Missouri
Scheduled Build date: June 2008 (assuming UAW gets it's act together)
Options:
Black w/ Black on Red interior (47e)
Sunroof
Air Wing Spoiler
G85 Transaxle
7 speaker Pioneer w/ 6disc in-dash
BTW I get GMS pricing and if anyone is wondering, this one is loaded with every option and GMS came to $22,683.03

I read that the '07 SS has a limiter set at 118, but does anyone know where the limiter is set on the '08? Because I would hate to have a car with that much top speed potential to cut at 118.
