ummm, not putting holes directly into the front of your bumper? You need a front plate in MD but not in PA or DE... it's lame, I just bought the car in DE, I live in MD, and I saw an opportunity to keep the front bumper from getting drilled.

Yeah, they make motorized ones that you can run to a switch or to a remote. That way if your on a road trip, you don't get pulled over.

yeah I guess a group buy would have been a great idea, I only saw one other black cobalt SS sedan with the same thing in the same location. lol. I hope he doesnt think I copied him. you can search for him on youtube. I actually didnt have time to wait for a group buy, I got pulled over sunday for not having the plate on the way to the CPT car show.

I did see a motorized one on a C6, looked great.

I like the color. When I got my car, I didn't have a choice because the holes were already made in the bumper with the bracket installed.

I've got the Swift;manual version-didn't want to drill holes, either. Mines center mounted and I haven't had problems as long as I'm careful. I don't think it blocks the intercooler enough to matter but I may move it to the side if it doesn't drag. Besides I can always slide it away for any "prearranged" contests.
