Get a K&N Typhoon intake or get a ZZP LNF PCM tune?
Get the intake, orgasm the sound and run lean, or get a ZZP LNF PCM tune and get POWER! Also is GMS1 sensors needed for the 22PSI?

Same questions have been asked just in the past week. Search.
Just get all your bolt ons then get tuned /thread |
Tune. Easy choice.
And I believe it's 23.5PSI, and they require a tune adjustment. |
you need a tune for any intake on these cars anyways.
|
Buy the tune and mod your stock intake box. Done.
|
If you going for zzp tune then you should prob get both together that way you can do the add on the k&n for 10 bucks
|
I run the typhoon with no tune. Going to do downpipe and tune at the same time

I'm sure the billion other posts about this topic make this clear, but you realize while yes... the trim is off, the PCM has compensated that % to reach the target lambda. You aren't going to see a CEL/MIL or blow up your car with an intake like a K&N. That's the whole point of the trimming, because even all things being equal stock its not going to be 0% all the time in every environment. Much ado about nothing for 99.99% of the population here. |
Just installed the ZZP LNF PCM and man what a difference. Car was quick stock, but now its on a new level.
