Hi everyone

Hey everybody, new here. I pick my 2009 Cobalt SS Turbo from the dealer tommorrow. I used to have 1997 Pontiac GTP, got rid of it, just got a daily driver, missed having a fun car so I wanted something turbo this time. I live in the Dayton, OH area and they had to bring it in from Chicago, closest one they could find. I'm excited to get one and can't wait to start modding it. Any early tips on what the best to do off the bat woulld be great. I
l'll have pics of it up soon. Nice to meet you all.

Ryan

Its the Switchblade Silver Metallic, options, pretty much all of them. It was kinda funny cuz when I was looking around, I looked at a used 2005 supercharged one, the place acted like they didn't want my business so I said screw it, went to a dealership a friend works at and they hooked me up. I feel better getting the turbo one already having had a supercharged car.

Wow, thanks for the list of all the sites to visit. Before he all I knew of was zzperformance and pfyc.com. Again, thanks for all the info. Are these cars high 13 second's stock? Thats what I've seen alot of them being on here. I've been out of racing for so long so I can't wait to take the Cobalt to the track.

Hmm, seems like to hit a 13 second time stock you need a pretty good 60 foot. Well, I've had tons of practice from doing that with my grand prix, just doing it in a stick is what I am gonna have to get used to. I'll have pics up of the new car today.

Hahn makes some good parts..but overpriced.

Trifecta Tune-200

Catless Downpipe-250

for under 500 bucks you'll have a low 13's high 12's car...and that sounds good.

Best two mods you can do right their..trust me i have them both.

You live right by WickedSS2005..get tuned by him if you're looking for some power. He made 309hp and 332 tq on a stock SS/TC...pretty sick numbers.

Man that is some power. I just finally stopped driving the car. I got it at 11 a.m. and hav been driving it since. Best choice I could've made in getting a new car. Only thing that sux is I have to take it back to the dealership body shop cuz it have some small scratches on the fender. I guess better that they are fixing it, atleast I'll have it for a few days before it gets the fix.

Some pics of the car
