lol did you even read anything on the link about gms1?

Cobalt 2008-2010 HP & Torque ratings:

• 280HP @ 4,700 RPM

• 320 lb,-ft of torque @ 4,300 RPM

• Kit disables "learn down feature"

•This performance upgrade maintains no-lift shift feature on Cobalts and HHR's and adds it for the Solstice/Sky.

•Note:

Solstice SKY HP & Torque ratings:

• 290HP @ 5,200 RPM
•MT 340 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM

•AT 325 lb,-ft of torque @ 3,600 RPM

HHR HP & Torque ratings:

• 290HP @ 5,200 RPM
•MT 315 lb,-ft of torque @ 4,800

•AT 315 lb,-ft of torque @ 4,800

19212670 Performance Upgrade Kit for Cobalt, Solstice, GXP.SKY, HHR

•Applicable: 2007, 2008, 2009 Solstice GXP/SKY RedLine, 2008, 2009 Cobalt 2008, 2009, 2010

•Installation labor: not included. Guideline is 1.2 hr for the Solstice/Sky, 2.0 for the HHR & Cobalts.

•Premium fuel is REQUIRED with this kit.

•This performance upgrade enables no-lift shift feature on Solstice/Sky. NLS is already included on the HHR and Cobalt.

•This kit needs to be installed by a dealer and reflashed by the dealer. It does not void any warranties.

What's in the box:
1 - Bolt Tmap Sensor
2 - Connector Sen-MAP w/ leads
1 - Sticker Premium Fuel
1 - Label Cert
2 - O-Ring T-MAP
2 - Sensor T-MAP
1 - GM Performance Decal
1 - Instruction Sheet

Note: Now fits all 2007, 2008, 2009 and some 2010 Models. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH THE 2010 SOLSTICE

Note:
The no lift shift feature will only work at full throttle acceleration.

The Turbo Upgrade Kit, when installed properly, does not affect the vehicle’s full factory warranty and it is 50-state emissions-compliant. Installation is quick, and includes a new ECM calibration and MAP sensors to work with higher boost levels. Premium fuel is required, but all other vehicle functions remain unchanged.

Follow this link for Installation tips

See what Cobalt owners have said once they installed the Turbo Upgrade Kit

It gives you new map sensors (3bar) to replace your stock map sensors (2 bar). The new ones can read boost up to 30psi. And then you need to take the car to a dealership to have them reflash the ecu which will up your boost and therefore create more power. Your welcome

I got that unlimited warranty also from a Stevenson Kia in NC. I said screw the warranty and got boltons and the Trifecta selectable tune (traction control button) I kept the stock parts just in case

NEVER EVER EVER! get an extended warranty from a dealership if you dont buy their brand of car! We put an extended warranty on a Jaguar at my Chrysler dealership and the thing happens to be a piece of ****! We have to send it to ford all the time when it comes in for repairs, huge pain.

That being said. A lifetime power train warranty is probably $1600-$2000. If you buy a car at Sticker its a good deal if they throw it in.

EDIT: This scenario is happening with a ford focus I sold right now. We dont have the software to check on several of the issues that its having. So we send it to ford. They diag then send it back, we dont have tools and parts to do the work it gets sent back again! Then ford fixes it half assed because its now a 3rd party to a warrenty claim so theres very little pay involved. Its a nightmare.

ups your boost pressure from stock which is around 15psi to roughly 21psi as well as gives a few more mpg. makes 2nd gear fun thats for sure.
