Yup! The same thing would happen to me. The only thing is that I was maxing at 7lbs

Yeah, no reason to mess with the stock intake, really. The stock Cold Air Intake is perfectly fine unless you are putting on a bigger turbo and the stocker is limiting your intake ability. An aftermarket intake, or modifying the stock intake, isn't going to do anything for a stock car.

Yeah I figured it wasn't gonna do much but sound nice, my car wasn't stock when I did it. I had a downpipe and a month away from a new intercooler
