How do you like your TWM shifter for your SS/TC?

Hey

I know that the TWM shifter is awesome from why I have heard and there web site is very impressive but I just wanted to get all the CSS.net members opinions on it!

I'm asking because in thinking about buying one with the CSS.net dicing that is currently being offered till this weekend!

So if you have one in your cobalt ss turbo, go in to detail about all the good and bad things about it or just whatever you wanna say about it

Thanks

Great purchase.. Just fiddle with the adjustments when installing and make sure you have it shifting nice... Only bad thing is my knob is freezing cold if it's cool out, not a big deal to me though... I also have upgraded cable clamp and bushings

My short knob comes loose sometimes, especially when I have my hand on it.

make sure you get a weighted knob for the best feeling.

Yeah, I like to hold it in my hand.

Go with the temperature neutral one.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys! The cable adjustment is important to get right, but once you've got that, it's as smooth as butter!

Loving mine - got the Piston weighted knob, clamp, bushings, boot; basically everything I could, all at once.

Install wasn't too bad for someone not mechanically inclined; the instructions were perfect!

Just wishing I might have waited a couple/few weeks - could have gotten the Abrams knob for free (or whichever one they're including right now).

all of twm's products look top of the line, ive wanted their shifter for awhile but 300 bills is a lot to spend on a short shifter IMO. i got a list of other things for my car which id perfer that money goin towards. so untill that list is gone im just guna have to settle for the stock shifter.

True that, but when they're on sale/groupbuy, you gotta jump. Full retail is...hard to bear.

I like mine. I have the cable clamp, bushings and the hybrid knob so my hand doesn't burn to a crisp or freeze.

The TWM is far better for track use also

I couldnt imagine going back to a stock shifter after having one even for street use
