Before you get your panties in a knot I clearly stated that I don't know you or your son. He could the most responsible person in the world. I was simply giving my opinion which you clearly were looking for since you made this post. I,me, myself, this guy typing would not give my son a nice car ever. Unless he got a scholarship then I'd buy him something with the money I save. You stated in your first post that you purchased the car for your son, that was what I was responding to, now you say he bought it himself. That's a different story if he saved the money for it tthen most likely he will respect it. As for the racing if its on the track I have no problem with it. Again I was simply stating my opinion and how I would handle the situation as it pertains to me. Once again good luck with the car and I

well good luck with the car and imo, wrong choice for this kid and 5 cars before he's 18?? either you are inflating the truth here or you are spoiling your son and i don't mean that in a good way. 16 is the legal driving age,so how long has he been operating a vehicle illegally??? as others has stated, it's not a matter if,but when the crank will walk. for some reason,i feel that the orginal motor is not in the car. a first gen motor is strong and will not walk. enjoy it for a month and sell it FAST!!

idk could have sold them, i had alot of cars in high school my uncle was a used car dealer, i would go to the auctions with him and throw a for sale sign when i got bac and drive around til i sold it. Maybe the motors are being pulled for parts for his 6th car

 

paint one color and that'll improve that right away, maybe some wheels. I had a 94 eclipse, wish I did not trade it in but eh. I still want a 99 model, but finding an unmolested one is not real easy.
