I was able to use the local dealer's tool. thanks though. after explaining to the desk guy how to use the tool. then going through step by step how to do it as he was holding the parts... he still couldn't figure it out and looked like a monkey having relations with a door knob. after a few minutes fumbling with it, he handed it to me and I got it done.

Ok so this has happened a couple of times now where someone has had the tool for a long time and someone else would like to use it. Most of the time it's not a big deal to keep it for a month, but sometimes it prevents someone from using it when they'd like. To prevent this, I'm going to say that after two weeks of receipt of the tool I'll subtract $5 from the deposit for each extra week it's out. I don't do this to make money (it's really not worth the couple of dollars for the trouble), I just want people to be able to use it without having to buy it like I did. This is the best way I can think of to prevent the problem. Thanks!
