Installing ZZP Fuel Cam
Hey guys,
I'm going e85 this spring and purchased the upgrade fuel lobe from zzp. I've been looking all over on here for a how to guide and can't seem to find one. I have a lot of tools and mainly work on the basics, suspension, brakes, plugs, etc. So, naturally I'm looking for a safe way to do this myself. (Tools needed, procedure needed for removing/installing cam.)
Thanks in advance,
Michael

Here you go, same as a timing chain install, you just need to remove the HPFP and camshaft bearing caps. Make sure to purchase new camshaft to sprocket/phaser bolts. If you have the cam holding tool you can just swap out the cams and avoid removing the front cover. Otherwise, this is it. It isnt really as bad as it may seem, and if you triple check your work it should be a solid 4 hour job. Be a good time to put in a new timing chain and tensioner. If you have the tool its just a matter of pulling out the cams and retorquing, but its a snug fit and takes some wiggling. PM me if you have any questions
