Launch control not at max?

I know that the limiter will bounce it off of 49-5100 rpm , but this seems quite useless to me. I have more success with it around 2100 rpm, as do some of the other track-ers.
So my point is , the launch control should control the launch even at lower rpms , rather than just banging off the limiter, right? I found that even with launch control on and I slip it at a lower rpm I still get wheel spin, and I dont feel the launch control trying to grab. So do I have to be bouncing of the limiter in order for the LC to work effectively?

just because it has launch control doesnt mean it eliminates 100% of your tire shreading. It only Helps prevent the wheels from spinning

Essentially the launch control allows you to let the clutch out faster at the higher RPM and the tries its best to minimize wheelspin. If you're slipping it at 5k chances are it's not going to help you (and some will argue it doesn't at all) but where you "should" notice a difference is if you were to let the clutch out faster (I don't mean dump it ) than you typically would in first gear, you can feel the car applying brake, etc. in order to keep the wheels straight and attempt to "limit" (which entirely depends on how well the track is prepared) wheel spin.

It's not the be-all-end-all solution and chances are getting your timing right around 2100-2600rpm would result in the same (until you mash on it and your wheels let go anyways) if not better launch so to me it appears to be personal preference whether or not you use it.

I know the idea of the launch control and how it works.I know that it will not eliminate tire spin.
So in other words, no the launch control will not engage or help at such a low rpm? k. That is my observation as well. I only see the LC working when I do dump the clutch. When I walk it out it does nothing to engage the braking systems and lets me spin them all the way the rev limiter.

So then what would be the point of when a person reflashes and opts to take a lower rpm for the max on the limiter for the LC? I get that it makes it easier for the desired rpm , but that low in the rpm to be effective, there is no point in having it there anyway...?

launch control helps a little for me but its like once i get to about 5k rpm with my foot at full throttle in 1st, the tires start to spin and when i go into second they will spin sometimes halfway into second lol depending on how im driving it. or how the roads are because lately with the season where i am the roads are very wet, or damp.

The times I tried LC, I didn't get much positive results either dumping the clutch or not. Wheel spin occurs through 1st and 2nd.
I feel I get better 0-60's by revving at mid rpm, managing the launch myself, using NLS and letting the TCS do it's thing.

I hate wheel spin.
