Where'd you pick your STi up from? I see you live in Colorado; Heuberger?

I ordered mine through them and got a bomb ass deal on it. Even shipping it to my front door I saved thousands over local pricing.

Haven't bought it yet. Still demodding the Cobalt and selling all the aftermarket parts. We bought our 2014 Wrx from Groove Subaru

I went with R3CALL3D.

Hopefully Florida DMV goes a little quicker than NY. Took about 3-4 months to actually get the plates

Buuuuttttt Florida only lets you have 7 characters and one space in addition to that. Cant have 8 though.

I wanted to go with NOW STFU, but my gf and coworkers kept saying how I needed to be more adult about it because of my job lol.

The LF highbeam has power at the fuse box.
I am going to have to check the harness next.
I know it is not the harness on the headlight because that worked in my LSJ, so it has to be between the headlight and the fuse box.

Can't catch a break on this; new ZZP issue is that the MAF relocation harness I bought from them is falling apart. Car now displays MAF Sensor Low Voltage codes.
Fired and email with pics off to ZZP about it, hopefully they expedite me a new one seeing as I only used this one, for one week, with their LCP and its coming apart on its own.

I never liked the placement of the MAF relocate on the LNF. Makes no sense to have the maf sensor plug facing the fans. It's a tight squeeze and unfortunately it resulted in pinched wires for you.

I never understood why the MAF relocate couldn't be turned 90 degrees to either side so the plug faces either the driver or passenger side of the vehicle. Then you can take the sensor out without having to rip the whole pipe out.

You'd think R&D would reveal these simple problems. But I'm guessing most companies just go with the &D portion of that equation. Especially on these cars. Hell, GM couldn't have found a more idiotic place to put the oil filter.

Oh ok. Well check out Heuberger if you haven't before. They are the largest volume dealership for Subarus in the US so great deals can be had because they aren't worried about front end profit. They make money on back end and manufacture incentives for units sold.

I agree. Its just like all of the people that complained the ZZP LC doesn't fit right and they never revised it. It is dumb. The wires arent pinched though, they are popping out of the blades in the plug.

Oil filter placement on the L61, LAP and LNF is fine.

LSJ is a bastard

Lsj is easier than the LNF. Unless you swap superchargers. The intake manifold on the LNF blocks the oil filter.

L61 and LAP don't have anything obstructing them.

They looked pinched. In any event, still a crappy design.

LNF is easy. Filter wrench on the cap and pull and twist it out. Easy as L61

This. LNF is just as easy as L61. LSJ takes a little more work since its hidden more

The one i just bought from them is also very loose fitting like that, one of the wires wiggles quite a bit. Hope I dont run into issues with it.

I am going to talk to Josh @ OTTP about a OTTP MAF relocate that turns the MAF 90 degrees.

I am super annoyed. All of this work to get the stupid ZZP lower in there, and now I think my MAF is bad so it all has to come back out.

Even when I clear them they all come back.
I am replacing the ZZP MAF extention harness because it had a couple loose wires that I believe is causing the MAF code. The car never had these codes prior to the clutch job I did. When I bought it I data logged the car and checked all of the codes; it was problem free in that aspect.

I will say of all the parts I bought on my car

the ZZP lower charge pipe was the biggest piece of ****, which is pretty sad considering I have a Treadstone FMIC which was made for a damn DSM.

I actually cut it so it could go in two pieces, it makes putting it together 10x easier

my MAF relocation plug bolt holes were not drilled the same.

The Vacuum nipple bolt they gave me didn't fit either.

I am writing josh at OTTP an email and citing a lot of the complaints about this ZZP one. I think if he makes his lower charge pipe the way I cut mine and moves the MAF 90 degrees so you can change it without pulling out the pipe they will fly off of the shelves. Especially is he under cuts ZZP and has the better and easier to install and use product.

Hopefully he can work something out because I will be the first one to buy it!

Another suggestion, and this would be worth the extra cost. Is have the clamp be part of the coupler that connects to the throttle body (like the stock) so you dont have to hold/adjust once you install the pipe.

Thats a good idea and beats the piece of duct tape I layed on the clamp to hold it in place while I installed it all.

All MAF related I guarantee. But, if the MAF extension gets replaced and codes persist, well then it may be because of these things:

System too lean at idle and your other too lean code should be able to be cleared up through additional tuning. I had the same issue when I was first tuning for the atmospherical BOV.

O2 sensor looks like it'll need to be replaced unless your downpipe doesn't have an angled bung... That may be the issue there.

It is the ZZP catless 3".

The o2 code went away this time. All of the others came back though.
Waiting for my new harness.

Boost ramp in is very jerky and "switch" like.
