I know you have heard it before but powells cab mounts are really good. Helps with wheel hop on that torque monster you now own.

Ouch that's rough. I just bought my 09 rally yellow. Realized a few days later that there is quite a bit of bondo on the car. Rearquarters and roof. No clue what was done or how bad the damage is underneath. Of course they didn't claim it so carfax said nothing and it was dumping snow when I bought it

For what I paid I will still be ahead and have some nice aftermarket parts on it.

So much. They are painted on. Any ideas what will take off the paint and not ruin the lens?

Josh hooked it up on a stainless clutch line.

New bleeder block as well.

Slave and TOB from crate engine depot.

Clutch rebuild from ky clutch.

Replacing it all because I am not doing this again.

Luckily I have a clean body and interior. Minus the gay eyelids and that shaved brake light.

Depends on the type of paint. If it is not a base coat clear coat poly urethane paint using xylene carefully on the paint should remove it. Take them off the car for sure. Still a very good chance you will have to reclear the lenses.

Okay. I will try it.
Worst case I get some black vinyl and lay it over the blue to toss these lights on the black SS before I sell it.

It is still for sale.
I am replacing the wheel bearing on the rear of my LSJ, changing it to stock wheels, and pulling all of the a-pillar gauges.
Car will be posted on Autotrader and CL for $6500 at that point. If it sells my 6' 200lbs ass will be 50cc scootering it around town.

Sorry to hear about all of this man.
I wouldn't even buy a Toyota Corolla used. The extra 3k you spend on a new car is worth the assurance that the only time the car was beat on was during the PDI. Too bad they don't sell 260hp sport compacts anymore...

OP GL with the car im sure once you fix all the bull **** it'll be good as new.

I OP. I'm truly sorry about all this. I just saw this thread as well. If there's anything you need please don't hesitate to shoot me a pm or text me if you still have my number. I have some of these parts you mentioned in this thread that I'd be willing to part ways with. Anything to ease the pain that car purchase has been for you.

This just me, but I would NEVER sell a car knowing there are issues like this going on. That is shady... No wait shitty. I would treat a suspected buyer the way I would like to be treated. This thread highly upsets me beyond belief. I was speaking with the OP as he was somewhat interested in purchasing my car. But sadly things couldn't work out as I was in a spot where I wasn't quite able to just get rid of it at that moment. Op met with this owner and subsequently purchased this car. And now here he sits. Without a car and dumping tons of money into it after just buying the damn thing. Pathetic, really. Gives good sellers a bad name and makes selling the car even harder.

Josh@OTTP, Tom@CED, Chris@KYClutch, 1panel2nv, Bmartz, Mongorat427, and Sscheky have all come through with majot wins for me in getting me everything I needed to fix all of the crap wrong with with this car. Definitely glad to have the resources of this forum to help me get this thing fixed and be budget conscious about it.
Current timeline should have the car back on the ground and driving around for the clutch break in next Thursday.

Pulled all of the intake pipes out today and discovered that the intake was not even clamped to the turbo, SMH.

Also found out that the intercooler is Hahn and not ZZP.

Painted all of the intake piping gold.

IC have welds on the endtanks? (sheetmetal endtanks) If so prepare for cracking at some point. Hopefully you have a newer one with cast end tanks (no welds except to the core and they almost never crack)

I will take a closer look.

I am not impressed with the Hahn stuff.
My CAI is steel and the underside of it was all covered in rust. Inside is clean, but I will be replacing this at some point. Pretty shitty part if it spends its short life in FLA and is covered in rust.

Tomorrow will be spent striping my LSJ of the parts that will go onto the LNF.
SSC Springs
BC Struts
BPS STS
Ingalls
OTTP Stage 2
OTTP Rack Spacer

I will also pull out the Double din and decide if I am going to sell it or install it in the LNF.

Ingalls will fit with the OTTP and Hahn intake.

It will not fit with the stock box or K&N

Idk about anything else.
