A/C working perfectly again.

Next step, 20g turbo swap and retros.
Yeah I had always heard that. I never use my A/C system so unless it's leaking I doubt i have an issue.

It is just odd to me. Cars 10-15 years older have provisions to prevent it. ****, my 2000 Jeep will not let you lol

So what do you have to do? Relieve pressure in the system? Drain it?

Yes. I just kept letting a little out at a time until the A/C worked properly.

Update.

Car has a 4.05 LSD trans and a Hahn s20g kit forcing 28psi through the engine and out of a 3" catless DP and stock catback. Sounds fantastic and turns peoples smiles to frowns as it chugs passed them. Notable gappings include Porsche Carrera Turbo, 392 Challenger, C7 Stingray, Supercharged SN95 Cobra, C5 Z06, GTO, and many, many more.

The car has been good to me despite all of the troubles it came with due to the previous owner. It has had its issues, but has never left me stranded. For a power to cost to win ratio, the LNF has been a great car to me. Hell, I even used it as a dad mobile for 2 full years after my daughter was born in July 2015 (yup, have a kid now too).

Sadly, this car will likely be for sale soon. I want an X5 AWD Diesel and it seems selling my SS and my Jeep are the most responsible way to step into the BMW.

That sucks. I hear bmw's are costly to own. You gonna step away from managing the buy-sell-trade page at that point?

And why do you need awd in a warm state, just curious? I always thought if I moved out of a colder climate I could walk away from 4wd.

We have a lot of sand and beach in Florida. Plus, family up north in Ohio we visit in the winter. AWD is great in the rain too.

Nah, I would stick around to help others. I have so much in my brain about these cars to share. I am actually on my way back from Miami with a wrecked SS/SC in tow. Driveline swap into my buddy’s ex LSJ turbo and part out car.

The X5 is pricey and my Jeep isn’t worth too much. I want to keep the SS and get the BMW but I don’t want more car payments. We already have a new CX-5 my wife drives.

The full size SUV that gets 30mpg Highway is really appealing to me on the X5

I could never make 2 car payments at once. Just a personal thing I believe in. Too much risk and too much throwing money away. To each their own.

I have always preferred none lol.

Selling both of my cars would cause about $5k worth of loan on a X5. That’s nothing imo. Most people Average a $600 a month payment.

i technically pay 896 a month for car payments.

im looking forward to them not being there. 1 year and my wifes rogue is gone, so thats 468 a month. and then I'm going to put that towards my Subaru and that will be paid off 1 year.

^good idea. I haven't been able to keep my wife in a vehicle long enough to get ahead much. She always wants something different every 4 years. Sadly she also does a **** poor job at taking care of them. That's why mine stay looking new because I know i will drive them longer.

Luckily for us, we leased this Rogue. so it goes back to Nissan in June 2019. I got her an LSJ to daily until we pay off some stuff. It will be nice not having 900 in car payments. I want to focus on paying down my Student loans after.

Sounds like you have a good plan. Paying on a decent house is much better than paying on cars that depreciate to 50% of their value in 4 yrs. student loans can be a huge weight on your shoulders.
