Future mod list - Formulated after less than a week of ownership!

ok so it appears that i will continue to tinker, and I dont know exactly when but I guess ill call these all near future.

Mods to come / wishlist

1. Tint, altho this shouldnt really count as its so cheap and pretty much a must on any of my car, go with the usual setup i have for small cars with 15% on sides and 35% on back.

2. Pedders springs, doing a lot of reading, and even tho they cost 50% more than the sportlines it seems what im looking for. Decent ride, with actual handling upgrades, without killin my butt.

3. Gm stage 1 kit

4. Maybe paint the rims black, Not sure if i want to go aftermarket again, ive bent wayyy to many.

5. See where im at probably exhuast or a downpipe, altho i would like to do either one of them, at this point ill probably would of spent almost 2k in mods, and im really not that serious, would just rather pay the car off (altho it doesnt really make sense to pay off early since ihave 0% interest on loan).

Looks like you're off to a good start.

Personally, I'd do the downpipe over the exhaust. It's just that big of an upgrade... sound and performance.

ya, im just not sure how GM would feel about the downpipe from a warranty stand point, im trying to preserve it for as long as I can. Right now i have ooooooh 330 miles, so im really tryin to fight already PLANNING on voiding the warranty, especially since i sprung for the 5/75000 mile bumper to bumper plan for like 900 bux.

Warranty is only voided if the part causes the problem.

I have a downpipe and not exhaust. I have had the car in for service a couple times to fix little stuff and they said nothing.

ohh yeah good list. Yes the cat back will only make a new noise no performance gain. BUT dont buy any bolt on mods until after stage 1 they wont make any difference. After that then bolt ons will make a difference and I have a company CP-E working on making some SS parts, so we shall see if their intake comes out soon, be one of the only ones to not throw crazy ass AF ratios.

Im actually looking at pedder springs right now, you going to get them soon or later on? they are having a sale on them now so we need 5 people to drop the price down to $319+shipping.

I would like to maybe pick them up in 3-4 weeks, I gotta buy a plethora of books next week, so i want to see how much that sets me back, build some bank back up, and than go ahead and make a decision.

Ya i would get no power gain parts until after the learn down is disabled with the gm stage kit. As far as im concerned, wait another 2 months GM, cuz im simply just not ready and dont want to get tempted and go out and get it, when i should wait haha

bah i like the stock rims, and if i were to get rims they would probably be black with some trim, so a cheaper route would be to bring them to the place down in Bath, PA, Wheel Collision Center, they are awesome fixed some of my rims and or found replacements for them, and they do some awesome paint work, so i toy with the idea of painting them black as cheap as that sounds.

Ya im a senior in college, I have several jobs, i just hate spending money quickly, it usually takes me awhile, and having lots more money than it costs to do it. But every now and than i fly off the handle by saying im to cheap all the time and go out and spend say, like a gm stage kit without really thinkin it out haha

Someone point me in the direction of a good downpipe with cat for a decent price, and gimme an idea of install cost. Or if i can do it myself (pretty handy, but nervous about newness of car)
