I called the Parts Department of the dealership to see If I could get a release date for the Cobalt SS/TC Turbo Upgrade Package. They called GM Performance and they said the projected release date has been moved back to June 2009 due to a problem with calibration.

 

well atleast they are still making it.

 

and it just keeps moving back farther and farther

 

This thread sounds just like 1 I seen 3 years ago about the Stage 1 & 2 upgrades, but like stated above atleast they are working on it & making it reliable!

 

Meh, better late than never. Gives me a chance to try to break slowstangs stock record

 

and there goes their potential sales to custom tunes

 

Same thing occured with that 3 years ago, too. HPT cracked the LSJ pcm within a few weeks of when the stage 1&2 setups came out.

This sounds like Gran Turismo 5 for PS3.....

 

LOL Im a huge Gran Turismo 3 fan but I've been turned to Forza Motorsport 2. I hate that turismo doesn't have realistic car sounds, great graphics though.

 

I bet that will resolved with the latest GT when it comes out. I love Prologue so far, but lack of replays online kills it for me as a drifter.

It is pretty much a couple of sensors in the exhaust manifold and the charge piping and rumor has it a CAI, Ohh also the dealer does a reflash and tune

 

 

Then you need a home theatre upgrade my friend! Forza 2 has great car sounds.

The way the economy is going GM is going to be lucky to even release the kit lol...thats just my 2 cents

 

on what platform? 360 sucks for it can barely hear turbs or supers lol.
exhausts are decent but GTAIV has the same quality....
i personally expect more out of a game since that's the main focus of it lol.


if gm was smart they'd release it asap cause they'd be making tons of $$ guranteed.
