i say you do it!!! take it off!! well the muffler, i was contemplating on this also but in the end i ended up removing it. so far i like the way it sounds, especially when you let off the gas on low rpms and it gurgles like an srt4

okay, so power gain from muffler delete, what about the weight between a pipe and a tip compare to a muffler with a tip? do you lose any weight at all?

nothing worthwhile. Maybe 4-5 pounds. Idk exactly how much the muffler weighs. It's a sound mod, nothing more really

Ok so I may be blind but does anyone have any videos of the SS/TC Muffler delete from in car cruising and under WOT? I want to see how bad it sounds in the car before I do it. The side exit video is way to loud for my taste but I wouldn't mind a little more sound in the car. Thanks!

I've heard it before, sounds awful. This only works good on the TC because it's turbo'd

i have the cobalt "sport" so it has the SS exhaust on it and tip, would this make a difference?

Nope, doesn't sound good on a 2.2, 2.4, or ss/sc. All sound raspy.

I would go take one for ya but i just broke my ankle so i cant drive. When your just cruising it isnt bad at all. Kinda drones at freeway speed but turn the radio on and it goes away. Under WOT i think it sounds like pure sex lol.
